position: Personal Lines Client Service Manager

Status: Full-Time (32 hours weekly)

Alcott Insurance Agency has been in San Diego since 1958. As an independent insurance agency, Alcott represents multiple insurance carriers, writing personal and commercial lines coverage for clients nationwide. Finding solutions for client’s needs is Alcott Insurance Agency’s specialty.
about you:

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role;
  • California Property and Casualty license required;
  • Must be able to analyze and communicate any risk to client and colleagues;
  • Thorough understanding of insurance products and services; and
  • Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of Applied EPIC agency management software (preferred)

about the job:
The Personal Lines Client Service Manager is responsible for supporting the Production staff in their servicing of personal lines clients and prospects.

  • Gathers information for the renewal of designated accounts sixty (60) to ninety (90) days prior to renewal;
  • Prepares proposals for new and existing clients;
  • Remarketing of existing client accounts as needed
  • Processes client requests for certificates/evidences of insurance in a timely manner;
  • Binds policies;
  • Prepares premium finance agreements;
  • Manages submissions to insurers, including application preparation; and
  • Onboards new accounts, manages the quote renewal process, and keep clients informed on any delays.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
